IT'S OCTOBER OH EM GEE!
And this is the time where the weather changes and your skin can do a 180 on ya. So I thought I would share what I do to keep my skin feeling good and moisturized!
First off, I want to say that I have struggled with acne my entire life. I did EVERYTHING to get rid of the embarrassing pimples on my face. You name it I definitely tried it! I learned that my skin was so sensitive that I couldn't even use most face washes without having a full blown breakout. Most of it was cystic acne and under my skin. Once the pimples would finally come to the surface I had these huge mountain white heads. These bad boys often left scarring when they were gone. (Another post coming on that soon). I finally went on Accutane while I was in college and that seemed to work for a while. Up until a few years ago, I started having bad breakouts again. I was like not again, I am 23 years old what the heck! That's when I found the HOLY GRAIL!
TULA!! I know a lot of people talk about how great it is and blah blah blah... but seriously I am just a regular person with bad acne and I can't say better things about their products. I thought I was going to be the grandma who still got pimples 🙄 Then I started using their starter kit and saw MAJOR results within a few days. My skin wasn't drying out or creating any major pimples. I think there was a day where I legit cried, I was so happy and excited not to have to use concealer! That was major for me. I never left the house without makeup, I was always so embarrassed. My acne prone, oily skin never reacted to anything well so I was jumping for joy. I bought their full size products and never looked back. I have since bought like everything on their site and I love every single thing. If you scroll all the way down I included some pics before I used Tula.
Step #1 So I first start off with their cleanser.
I love their purifying cleanser (I keep in the shower for night time use) but they also just came out with a sensitive skin cleanser (morning use) and an acne cleanser! I just ordered the acne one yesterday so I'll have to update this post later once I try it.

Step #2 I use the pro-glycolic re-surfacing gel
I use this with a cottons pad and just one- two squirts is usually enough! This makes my face feel so clean!
Step #3 Moisturizer! I use their Oil Free Gel Cream.
Like I said before I have super oily skin so this moisturizer hydrates my skin without the greasy feeling. This is my favorite product by far!
Step #4 Eye Serum!
This is such a great product to de-puff your eyes and make them look so awake (especially in the morning). Plus it has a really cool applicator which makes it even better to put on.
Step #5 The last step if needed. Acne spot treatment
So around "that" time of the month I'll get maybe one or two smaller pimples, so I'll use this spot treatment to zap them away.
Here are some more products I use on a daily basis as well. I love their probiotic that I take every night before bed!
I use their brightening balm over and under makeup to give me a nice glow. It also can be used as a highlighter. (Looks so natural)
I linked their treatment pads which are amazing and gets rid of dead skin.
And I linked the starter kit if you're interested in trying it! That's what I used and fell in love!
Here are some pictures from just before I started my Tula skin regime. These were before pics and I never did take after ones. (2017)
If you have any questions on my skin care routine or about the products let me know I'm always here to help!
